FAQS:
1. How much notice do I have to give when ordering my cake?
We can make cakes with very sort notice however this is not the most desirable way. Just like booking your reception it is more a case of reserving your spot. We do not pump out and mass produce wedding cakes. If we have reached our capacity for your particular wedding day we will be unable to accept any more orders.
2. If Sweet Tooth Cakes don't have a retail show room how do I contact, organise or speak with someone face to face if I want to?
We do have an office which you can attend by appointment to discuss your requirements. Equally with today's busy schedules we offer a home service and a majority of followup consultation is handled via email and phone. It doesn't effect the end product in anyway.
3. Why don't you have a retail shop and show room?
It is the most expensive overhead that any business has. The rent on a retail shop in a respectable location is upwards of $1000 p/w. That doesn't allow for staffing, utilities and other associated expenses that get added onto the price of your cake. That is why Sweet Tooth Cakes can offer savings of up to 50% when compared with other wedding cake providers.
4. Before making an appointment to speak with a consultant what should I prepare.
With the Internet and many wedding magazines available, you probably have a fair idea of a basic design that you like. Bring it along or email it, this and any other information such as venue location, florist and number of guests. In order for us to give you an accurate quote, where the cake is to be delivered to, number of guests and whether you prefer fresh flowers or hand made will greatly influence the end price.
5. What flavours are available?
By far the most popular of the flavours we offer is our chocolate layer cake. It's a rich moist chocolate cake ideal for being covered by white icing or chocolate. We also have Lemon citrus, Carrot, banana, orange poppy seed and traditional fruit cake. We can also cater for special dietary requirements. That special guest who can't eat eggs, dairy products, nuts or gluten doesn't have to be left out.
